with the stove jack rubber and if your tent has a footprint for a stove its rubber as well, you don't need to worry since its grounded unless your touching it at the time of the strike.
El que no se humea el sartén la que yo hice me humeo bastante mi sartén ?
Puedes enseñar como hiciste el stand gracias muy buena explicación.
The way you handled it was better than getting rid of 2 corpses.
There’s no such thing as h as a clip for a pistol… and most rifles for that matter.
😕 I have never had an encounter as disturbing as this, but more often there are weird, drunk or high people out camping. There are some places that I will not ever go back to.
You put a magazine in. Not a "clip". If you don't know the difference then you need to spend a lot more time with that weapon before you're ready to defend your family with it.
That's why it's very important that if you have a firearm that you be careful there could be a person with mental problems coming to the wrong tent are someone just lost
Great idea with the gun, but sometimes you don’t have that extra second so have it racked with one in the pipe and in a good holster on your person not a pocket. A bear would eat you before you could pull it out and you may not have the other arm to rack it specially if it a human wrestling you, your done and now the bad guy might wrestle it away putting you and your kids in danger. Stay dangerous, never a victim. A gun is but a tool for a good guy, but a weapon for a bad guy!
As a 20 year police sergeant and avid outdoorsman, I 100% approve his preparedness and response. I especially like getting everyone in the vehicle for a quick escape if needed. Great job deescalating the threat, but being prepared to handle the absolute worst if needed. Not leaving it up to unpredictable people to decide your fate is the main takeaway here.
I went for a flight it flew away but I pressed return to home and it came back I had all those problems to day it happened on my second battery and on the remote it says magnetic enter feerens
I know that entire area well. I grew up in Denver. Rampart Range Road is where all the partiers go camping. Been that way for years. So I’m thinking you were not informed of this before you went? There are areas of Highlands Ranch where we used to party that are covered with homes now. Friday Night Keggers were normal up in Daniel’s Park.
So you make video about it?
Scary situation when you have all of your life's valuables around you. Nothing is more dangerous than a man with nothing to loose.
uuummmmm, click CLICK
Holy crap! I am glad that you all were okay.
Yeah no tears if they went "missing" lol
'Nuther guy sittin' in a chair talkin' in a microphone. 🥱
Being that nice and open might kill you.
Listening to your story, I'm not sure if I would've been pissed or amused
Not sure why you would go out of your tent at 4 am <without> your handgun under those circumstances. That's the reason you brought it right? To protect your family. Just because you have it doesn't mean you need to use it, but at least you have the option.
On an old trail back in a national forest, I was taking a break out of the heat next to a shade tree. A couple guys, and gals popped out of nowhere, and started conversation. I stood up when I overheard a whisper from one guy to another. I unsnapped the safety strap on my 44 mag tracker revolver, pulled it out to my side with the hammer back. They clearly were shocked to see it. For some reason they all of a sudden felt the need to take off and leave me be. I kept the revolver ready as I returned to the trail head. Never saw them again, but I did report the incident to the rangers...just in case those idiots would pull the same on someone else. Never be unprepared.
Not chambering a round could possibly cost you your life. That's a huge mistake.
Never go camping out into the wilds and deep woods without a weapon a gun preferred, at minimum an 8" survival knife or machete. I use a sensor-activated intruder alarm and a garden solar motion-activated light too. I also have a couple of loud firecrackers that if I hear any menacing movement outside I light one up and shout "fire in the hold" throw it outside "BANG!!! things quiet down after that.
Just wondering if you are still using this stove and how it is holding up? Concerned about warping issues that other have talked about.
This is one of the reasons I hate alcohol... Always stay armed, and keep one in the chamber.
Drunk people are my least favorite!
No you leave! Take important.....wait you got a shotgun and a pistol?? Shotgun goes to wife you keep pistol kidscin the car...problem over
Good comparison for difference between clip and magazine fed rifles are the M1 Garand and the M14. Garand is loaded by clip (stripper) and M14 takes a magazine. Not aware of any modern clip fed pistols.
Stay strapped..
I was stuck in a kayak going down the peace river in Florida during a lighting storm. I never paddled so fast in my life. As soon as phones got internet access... lets just say my friends call me Radar now.
I'm reading the comments on this and I'm really surprised at how many keyboard warriors are there talking about murdering somebody because they're drunk and loud. I'm also wondering how many of these keyboard warriors actually have the balls to do something like that
This is why you should travel with a shovel and a bag of lime.....
You should always have protection when camping, I thought you said they stopped the 4 wheeler right outside the tent!
🐕 why wasn't the Dog Barking what kinda dog do you have!
CC
Side arm AND a "big 12".. minimum anymore. Sad.. but too many wackjobs out there these days.
I would find it hard to sleep not knowing if some drunk idiot would run over my tent with my family still in it. With that in mind, I think I'll incorporate some drunk-driving protection into my tent site selection in the future...make sure that my car and/or some large rocks, trees, or pick-nick tables block vehicle access to my tent.
This is why you always have a rifle, shotgun and high capacity pistol accessible in your possession when tent camping.
Lucky. Your wife was there to take charge. Didn't seem like you were by the way, be careful with that. When women have to take charge and lead, they leave.
darens and Karen's trying to establish HOA in the woods.
Would this possibly work for an AC Infinity grow tent, for 24 hours going 2 month straight Or longer?, would it be able to last that long?
1minute presentation would have done it What a waste
I buy the one gallon sprayer and the 2 gallon sprayer! I take off the wond part and just wet myself down. I still have a spray comming out to turn on and off.
Obviously you need some firearms training before you hurt yourself or someone else.
please stop calling a magazine a clip lol
Pretty cool! I was gonna do the black abs PVC pressurized on the roof of my Astrovan, but I'm thinking about this now. Maybe I can get a little larger tank and paint it black....eliminating the heating up water and having some extra too. Thanks for the idea!!!
The wonders of car camping. People being morons.
Giving any unknown person a ride is the dumbest thing ever. Never do that.
The most dangerous animals to dwell in the wild woods are on two legs... you should see them go when protecting their young. You, my friend, (and your better half) showed amazing restraint and maturity in that situation. Fear for your offspring would turn even the most mild men into savages. You rose above that compulsion and I applaud you for it. I am a lesser man... and would have done something terrible if my daughter was in the tent behind me. You should be working as a negotiator.
